제목 | Amine functional polymer wrapping CNT channels for sensing acidic air pollution |
초록 | As increasing consumption of fossil fuel, air pollutants cause the severe problems regarding environment and human health. Thus, it is important to track the primary air pollutants such as CO2, SOx and NOx. However, discrimination of these acidic gases in solid-state sensor is too difficult due to its similar chemical and electrical properties. Here, we fabricated solid-state gas sensor using amine functional polymer/CNT channels. The amine groups could interact with acidic gas by acid-base interaction. Interestingly, tertiary amine group interact with SOx and NOx selectively without CO2. Thus, bare CNT, polyethyleneimine (PEI)/CNT and methylated PEI/CNT showed different sensing behavior on acidic gases. The responses for acidic pollutants were selectively detected and reached as low as threshold limit value. In our knowledge, this is the first works on solid-state gas sensor for perfect discrimination of primary air pollutants. |
