Chemically Robust and Flexible Organic Transistor Array Fabricated via Photolithography |

Organic semiconductors have many advantages for flexible and transparent electronic applications. However, their instability under various environmental conditions and the unbalanced charge transport have limited their usage and commercialization. Here, we report the fabrication of flexible organic ambipolar transistor arrays using a polymer semiconductor with high chemical robustness, diketopyrrolopyrrole-selenophene copolymer with siloxane-terminated side chains. Ambipolar charge transport was enhanced by introducing graphene electrodes with low contact resistance and reduced electron injection barrier for improvement of electron injection. With high chemical robustness, the devices were operated even after being soaked in organic solvents for 24 h, and could be patterned via conventional photolithography process for the fabrication of integrated transistor array. Our results represent a significant improvement on the fabrication and commercialization of organic electronic devices. |
