The measurement of crystal growth rate is very important in the crystallization process. however it is not easy since it needs the special equipment or large number of experiments. A simple method has been developed for the measurement fo crystal growth rate. In this method, the nucleation point under a constant cooling rate was measured in the same operating condition except the amount of seed. Then, the growth kinetics parameters are estimated using the experimental data to match the points of nucleation. This method is not accurate to measure the growth rate of the crystal, but it can provide the averaged crystal growth rate as conduction of few experiments. the growth kinetic parameters using the new method compared to the value in the existing study. |
