| 제목 | Separation of acetic acid-water by Eutectic Freeze Crystallization |
| 초록 | Eutectic freeze crystallization(EFC) was studied to separate pure water and pure acetic acid from their mixtures. By operating at below the eutectic point, ice and acetic acid crystal can be simultaneously formed as two separate phases. Scrapered crystallizer and purifier for crystals were set-up. Experiments were carried out with operating variables such as cooling temperature, operating time, agitation rate and cooling rate. As a result, two solid phases were completely saparated. Concentration of acetic acid was below 20% on the top of crystallizer and above 80% at the bottom of crystallizer. |
