제목 Characterization of Release Profile on Radiation Fabricated β-Glucan Hydrogels for Wound Dressing
초록 To evaluate β-glucan effect on the wound healing, biocompatible polymer blended hydrogels were prepared by gamma-ray irradiation and examined physical properties such as gel fraction, absorption ratio, and compressive strength. The structural analysis was conducted using fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) to detect functional groups and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) to identify release profile of β-glucan. In addition, animal study was examined for observing the wound healing of rat skin. Therefore, radiation fabricated β-glucan hydrogels could be considered as good biomaterials for tissure regeneration without chemical crosslinking agent.
