제목 The thermal decomposition characteristics of PAN based polymer fibers for fire retaldancy
초록 In other to, obtain flame retardant polymer fibers, melamine, ammonium phosphate, pentaerythritol and titanium dioxide embedded polymer fibers were prepared by electrospinning method. Melamine, ammonium phosphate, pentaerythritol, and titanium dioxide were selected due to its excellent flame retardant. Fluorination method was also used to increase the flame retardant of electrospun fibers. The flame retardant and characterization of electrospun fibers were investigated using SEM, TGA, DSC and XPS. It was confirmed that the additives in polymer fibers and the degree of fluorination were contributed to improved flame retardant.
