제목 Preparation of core-cross-linked star polymers with benzophenone derivatives by microwave irradiation
초록 Core-cross-linked star polymers which have polyethylene oxide (PEO) as a shell and cross-linked poly(2-[4’-iodobenzoyloxy]-ethylmethacrylate) (p(4-IEMA)) with benzophenone derivatives as a core have been successfully synthesized by an “arm first” method. PEO-p(4-IEMA) block copolymer was prepared via atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) of 2-[4’-iodobenzoyloxy]-ethylmethacrylate (4-IEMA) with preformed PEO-Br as a macroinitiator. After that, core-cross-linked star polymers with benzophenone derivatives in a core was efficiently made by ultrafast carbonylation reactions under air by flash microwave heating in the presence of dicobalt octacarbonyl in 1-2 min.
