제목 Microwave Synthesis of Hierarchical Zeolites using Seeding Method
초록 Hierarchical zeolites are evoking a great deal of interests in research and industry, expecting overcoming diffusion limit and improving stability. The conventional zeolites used to have only micropores. Thus, several attempts have tried to synthesize mesoporous zeolites using different methods, such as hard & soft templating, desilication and dealumination by chemical treatment with strong acid or base or steaming methods.  But still each of methods has some drawbacks to be overcome.  
In this study, microwave synthesis was applied to prepare hierarchical zeolites (MFI, MOR etc.) using seeding method. By using controlled microwave irradiation, zeolite nanoparticles were aggregated rapidly and give hierarchical structures, whereas the specific morphologies were designed with the aid of soft templates having long chain structure.
