Single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) is the proper candidate for polymer composite due to their sp2-hybridized carbon structures, which result in outstanding electronic properties of SWCNT. Recently, the research on dispersion of SWCNT using amphiphilic block copolymer has been carried out extensively. We have reported on the dispersion of SWCNTs with high aspect ratios using random copolymer. In this study, block and random copolymers with various monomer compositions were synthesized. In addition, we carried out comparative study on polymers for the dispersion of SWCNTs in solvent. After dispersion, random copolymer showed the excellent dispersibility and the high aspect ratio of SWCNTs were obtained. The structures of synthesized polymers were confirmed by 1H NMR spectroscopy and GPC. Furthermore, TEM, AFM, IR and dispersion stability analyzer were used to analyze the dispersibility and the stability of SWCNTs dispersion. |
