제목 | Development of a label-free, sample recoverable detection system for the extensive analysis of specific exosomes |
초록 | Although exosomes have been ignored as vehicles of waste material, recent studies have brought into light that they serve as a vital method of communication between cells, implicating the possible use of exosomes as a means of therapy, as well as diagnosis. However, current methods of exosome isolation have the issue of having either low purity or low recovery rates, yielding disappointing results when it comes to the assessment of clinical samples due to passing-by specific critical exosomes containing information-rich contents such as mRNA, miRNA, and proteins. Therefore, a high-throughput system which accumulatively captures and releases specific exosomes for the sequential evaluation of inner contents would undoubtedly be desirable. This would ensure the recovery of target exosomes in high concentration for a more sensitive and precise diagnosis. In this study, we introduce such a method, employing a label-free and sample recoverable detection system by utilizing a thermo-responsive polymer, allowing us to remotely initiate recovery once the target has been obtained at an appropriate level. |
