제목 | Polymeric microcapsule and its application |
초록 | Colloidal nanoparticles (NCs) with unique properties have been widely studied for decades. For practical applications such as sensors, display, drug delivery, embedded capacitor and so on, colloidal NCs must be incorporated in a polymer matrix. Unfortunately, outstanding properties of nanocomposites due to combination of NCs and matrix can be greatly decreased by uncontrolled aggregation. For example, despite the great potential of luminescent NCs such as quantum dots and perovskite nanocrystals in display technology, their applications have been hampered due to serious degradation of their optical properties resulting from aggregation. In this talk, to control the aggregation of luminescent NCs such as CdSe/Cd/ZnS and CsPbBr3 in matrix, we developed novel and easy encapsulation technology based on self-assembly of polymer. As a result, undesirable fluorescence quenching due to aggregation was minimized in various matrix with high concentration up to 1.0 wt%. |
