Composite nanomaterials composed of biocompatible natural polymer and montmorillonite (MMT) were prepared using electrospinning technique. Field emission type scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, reflection type X-ray diffraction and thermal gravimetric analyzer were utilized to characterize the natural polymer/MMT composite nanomaterials morphology and properties.
