제목 Synthesis of Highly Dispersed Platinum Nanoparticles on Carbon Nanotube by Polyol Process
초록 The composite materials based on platinum (Pt) nanoparticles and mutiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) were synthesized with Polyethyleneimine (PEI) and Polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP). MWNTs were modified by cationic polyelectrolyte PEI via the electrostatic interaction and physisorption. The PEI functionalization method provided high density and homogeneous surface functional groups on MWNTs. The deposition and distribution of Pt nanoparticles was investigated by comparison of PEI-MWNT and PVP-MWNT. The existence of the surface functional groups on PEI modified MWNTs was confirmed by FT-IR. The composite materials were characterized with TEM, SEM-EDS and XRD.
