Highly conductive polyaniline doped with camphor sulfonic acid (PANI:CSA) was synthesized via self stabilized dispersion polymerization (SSDP) method under several conditions. The optical and morphological studies on high quality polyaniline emeraldine-base (PANI:EB) were performed by measuring FT-IR, UV-vis spectrum, solid-state 13C-nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Doping concentration of PANI:CSA was measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy technique. The electrical conductivity of PANI:CSA reaches to 600S/cm confirmed by standard 4-point probe method at room-temperature. In addition, the PANI:CSA has successfully used as a transparent anode in semitransparent inverted polymer solar cell based on composites of regioregular poly (3-hexylthiophene) (rr-P3HT) as an electron donor and phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) as an electron acceptor. The device exhibits a reasonable performance with power conversion efficiency of 1 %. |
