제목 SYNTHESIS OF METHACRYLATED NATURAL POLYMER CROSSLINKER FOR SUPER ABSORBENT POLYMER
초록 The Superabsorbent polymer (SAP) has been used in various field for using their unique properties currently, developed by a variety of synthetic polymer and used as absorbent of diaper particularly. However, there is a hazardous problem to environment during the disposal of trash after use. So, the SAP have been studying to product that has not only eco-friendly also high absorbency. In this study, we were interested in the natural polymer for producing the crosslinker since they are low cost, eco-friendly and biocompatibility. Then we used methacrylate that has reactive double bonds branch to make hydrogel for SAP. For experiments, the characterization of composed natural polymer-MA had been analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and gelation test to verify the working as a crosslinker. The study of the absorbent having unique properties can be expected to have positive effect on the development of disposable absorbent products.
