제목 | Enhanced Efficiency of Solar Cell by Introducing Charge Transporting Material |
초록 | Efficiency of Photovoltaic Cell is determined by charge's mobility, interfacial area, and morphology. In this experiment, we consider the charge's mobility especially. In other words, by finding a proper way to enhance the mobility of electron or hole, it is possible to retard their recombination so that more charges are transported to the electrode. Here, we use a device based on P3HT and PCBM. In order to enhance the efficiency of solar cell, we add the transporting material to the active layer. We apply equal amount of each element except for this transporting material. This transporting material carries out the role to connect charges with electrode so that charges can move more quickly. The I-V curve measurement of solar cell is carried out by the solar simulater. The morphology of the device was confirmed by taking SEM and AFM pictures. The overall efficiency of the device can be calculated from this I-V curve to show an enhanced value. |
