Interaction mechanism between consisting the organism cell function and components has been studied for various bioactivities toward environment stimuli. Here, we studied the activity of the neuronal cell, PC-12, on various polymer films which could be used for surface modification toward the biochip technology. The polymer films were comprised of polyelectrolytes to control cellular interactions either attractive or repulsive under micro-patterned condition. The polyelectrolyte multilayer films were prepared by hydrogen bonding as well as electrostatic interactions. In addition to cellular interactions, we also measured the optical, electrical surface properties of the films. |
