Synthesis and Characterization of New Crystalline Poly (DPAA) |
초록 |
We synthesized p-dodecylphenyl-N-acrylamide (DPAA) as a new monomer by reacting acryloyl chloride with p-dodecylaniline. The new monomer was polymerized in the presence of AIBN at 60 °C for 24 h to produce homopolymer (poly (DPAA)). DSC and TGA confirmed that the poly (DPAA) has melting temperature at 245 °C and it shows excellent thermal stability. The effect of the thermal history on the degree of crystallinity of the homopolymer was characterized by means of DSC and X-ray diffractometry. |
