SEBS(Styrene-ethylene-butadien-styrene) is thermoplastic elastomer behaves like rubber without undergoing vulcanization. Molybdenum disulfide(MoS2) has extremely low dynamic friction coefficient and high abrasion resistance. But MoS2 decfect in the matrix for the aggregation by VDW force. Then, the composites has the low wear and mechanical properties decreasing. To increase the wear and mechanical properties, it is necessary to disperse nanofiller inducing the chemical reaction in the matrix. In this research, The surface of MoS2 was treated by amine silane coupling agent to improve the interfacial interaction between SEBS and PP. Specimen was prepared through the internal mixer and hot press, and measurement has the wear and mechanical properties using the UTM and Taber Test. FT-IR spectroscopy was used for indicating the functional group of amine silane coupling agent on the MoS2 surface. Moreover, the roughness was confirmed by AFM and the Morphology was ovserved by EDX and SEM. |
