In this work, activated carbon/tubular polypyrrole composites (ACPPy) synthesized with various weight ratio of manganese dioxide. The electrochemical performance, including capacitance and cyclic stability, of the resulting composites was investigated. The influence of the ACPPy/manganese dioxide content on the electrochemical properties and changes in pore structure were also examined. The morphology of composite were observed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The specific surface area of the composites were calculate from N2 77K adsorption/desorption isotherms by the Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) equation. The electrochemical performance of the prepared composites was characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and galvanostatic charge/discharge (GCD) measurements using an Ivium Stat electrochemical workstation (Ivium Technologies). |
