제목 | Porosity and Catalytic Effects on Ordered Mesoporous Carbon and Its Applications |
초록 | Increased use of portable electronic devices makes secondary batteries important. Li-S battery is a one of the promising secondary batteries. It has high theoretical energy density and low cost. The primary problem for Li-S battery is shuttle effect which means dissolution of polysulfides into the electrolyte. It makes the capacity decrease. To minimize the shuttle effect we synthesized ordered mesoporous carbon(OMC) materials with micropores and platinum nanoparticles. Carbon materials which have good conductivity are used with sulfur. Especially the OMC has thermal and chemical stability, high surface area and high pore volume. First, we synthesized the OMC with micropores. We expected that polysulfides with long chain could be blocked because of the small pore size. And we loaded platinum nanoparticles. Nanoparticles of platinum could catalyze the reaction of polysulfides so dissolved polysulfides could be trapped. |
