제목 Synthesis of biobased thermoplastic elastomer based on nylon 1012 and poly(tetramethylene glycol)
초록 Biobased polymers, which are derived from renewable resources like plant oils,  have been recognized to reduce carbon dioxide and various biobased polymers are under development to replace conventional petroleum based polymers in many applications. In this study, we synthesized multiblock copolymer type thermoplastic elastomer having bio-based nylon 1012 as a hard segment and PTMG as a soft segment. The carboxy terminated nylon 1012 oligomer was synthesized from 1,10-diaminodecane and dodecanedioic acid, which are derived from castor oil. Then the carboxy terminated nylon 1012 oligomer was reacted with PTMG by  melt condensation polymerization to obtain nylon 1012-b-PTMG multiblock copolymer. Their thermal and mechanical properties were investigated by DSC, DMA, tensile test, respectively.
