Anti-biofouling Property of Natural Unsaturated Hydrocarbons Impregnated in Polydimethylsiloxane Matrix |
| 초록 |
Some species of natural unsaturated hydrocarbon phenols have been reported to have anti-biofouling effect. They have potential industrial applications where bacterial contamination as well as endocrine disrupting should be avoided. This report will show the anti-fouling effect of the polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS) matrix containing three natural unsaturated hydrocarbon phenols: Urushiol from lacquer trees, a regioisomer of urushiol and cardanol from refined Cashew Nut Shell Liquid (CNSL). Our report will include fabrication of natural unsaturated hydrocarbon phenol-containing PDMS matrix and their anti-biofouling property. |
