제목 Effect of coupling agent and catalyst on the properties of aluminum hydroxide/poly(methyl methacrylate) composites
초록 Aluminum hydroxide (ATH)/poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) composites were prepared by curing the reaction mixture consisting of such various components as PMMA, MMA, ATH, cross-linker, coupling agent, dispersant, hardening agent and catalyst. The curing reaction was self-accelerated by the exothermic heat once the reaction was initiated. The effects of the content of both coupling agent and catalyst on the surface hardness, flexural strength, and specific gravity were studied. The thermal resistance was investigated by measuring the heat distortion temperature. The surface hardness of the cured composites was studied by Rockwell durometer according to ASTM D785.
