제목 | Effect of Mo, Ni, Co concentration on syngas fermentation using Clostridium autoethanogenum |
초록 | Most of developed countries are promoting reduction in greenhouse gas emissions because of global warming. Bioethanol which is moisture-free and octane-rich nature is important replacement of fossil fuel. Bioethanol was produced from crops and lignocellulosic biomass, however, agricultural waste, wood waste, nonedible crop, synthetic gas or waste gas are used recently. Especially, synthetic gas (or waste gas) which is composed to CO, CO2, and H2 is attractive alternative because the components can be used by some acetogenic bacteria as a carbon and energy source. But bioconversion system using CO gas has the limitation that the cell growth rate is slow and the product concentration is low. Therefore, there are various attempts, such as bioreactor design, operating strategy, medium composition changes. In this study, the cell growth rate and ethanol productivity were measured through trace metal changes of the culture media. We optimized Mo, Ni, and Co concentration. |
