제목 Applications of self assembled mono- and multi-layer films for opto-electronic devices
초록 Self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) can be prepared using different types of molecules and different substrates. This type of SAMs holds great promise for applications in several different areas. Some examples of suggested and implemented applications are metallization of organic materials, corrosion protection, molecular crystal growth, alignment of liquid crystals, pH-sensing devices, patterned surfaces on the micrometer scale, electrically conducting molecular wires and photoresists.
In addition, there have been significant advances in the fabrication and demonstration of individual molecular dots, molecular electronic wires, diode switches and molecular switches for opto-electronic devices.
This presentation reviews those developments and tries to give the way how to apply SAMs for the opto-electronic devices.
