The electrochemical performance of polymer gel electrolytes were investigated in terms of ionic conductivity, electrochemical stability and cell behaviors. It was found that the conductivity of the polymer gel electrolytes was higher than 1.5 x 10-3 S/cm with 21.6 wt% of polymer content. It also shows a maximum ionic conductivity of 2.6 x 10-3 S/cm at room temperature, which is comparable to conventional liquid electrolytes, and electrochemical stability was increased with polymer content.In addition the capacity and electrochemical stability of lithium-ion cell was not better than the conventional cell, it was improved by adding 7wt% of butyl benzene. |
