제목 Anion Conductive Aromatic Ionomers Containing 1,2-Dibenzoylbenzene Moiety for Alkaline Fuel Cell Application
초록 A series of poly(diphenyl ether ketone sulfone)s, PDPEKS (30%, 40% & 50%) containing di-quaternary ammonium hydroxide on pendant phenyl groups (QAPDPEKS-OH) were synthesized through nucleophilic substitution polycondensation, chloromethylation, quaternization, and the subsequent ion exchange reactions. The di-quaternary ammonium hydroxide polymers rendered an elevated molecular weight and exhibited an outstanding solubility in polar aprotic solvents. Consequently, flexible and tough alkaline membranes with varying ionic contents were obtained by an anion exchange of di-quaternary ammonium chloride polymers with 1.0 M KOH at room temperature. The resulting polymers will be studied by 1H-NMR, FT-IR, TGA, ion exchange capacity, ion conductivity, water uptake and cell performance.
