제목 Polyethyleneimine functionalized Multi-walled Carbon nanotube Platinum Catalysts as a Supported for PEMFC
초록 Cationic branched Polyethlyleneimine (PEI) was immobilized on the surface of MWNTs via electrostaticinteractions between the positively charged protonated amines within the polymer and the carboxyl groups on the chemically oxidized MWNT surface. The PEI-functionalization site provided high density, homogeneous functional groups on the MWNTs’ sidewalls for binding Pt nanoparticles. Pt nanoparticles uniformly deposited on MWNT support compared with Pt loading of 10 30 wt%. Various Pt loadings were in situ deposited on the surface of MWNT, as confirmed by a transmission electron microscopy and Pt/MWNT effectiveness measured by cyclic voltammetry and single cell test.
