제목 | Solvothermal synthesis of calcium phosphate using inositol hexakiphosphate (IP6) as soft template and phosphate source |
초록 | Calcium phosphate (CaP) is a major component in vertebrate skeletal tissues and teeth. CaP is widely used in biomedicine due to its outstanding biocompatibility, bioactivity and nontoxicity. Properties of CaP, such as chemical composition, structure, and morphology, are related to their applications. One of synthetic method to synthesize and modify CaP is using some organic molecules as a soft template. Inositol hexakiphosphate (IP6) is a principle storage of phosphorus in plant. IP6 can bind to various cation ions, including Ca2+ ions, and form a complex under adequate condition. Via hydrothermal process, we can also get phosphate ions from IP6. We develop solvothermal synthetic routes to synthesize CaP with calcium ion and IP6 through solvothermal method in a mixture of water and ethanol as a solvent, with base to make suitable synthetic condition. We propose the mechanisms of the formation of CaP, and observe the effects of reaction conditions on the products. |
