제목 Thiophene Flanked Diketopyrrolopyrrole-based Conjugated Small Molecules for Thin Film Transistors and Solution-processed Solar Cells
초록 The donor-acceptor (D-A) type conjugated molecules displayed very promising performance in organic field effect transistors (OFETs) and organic photovoltaics (OPVs). Owing to their strong molecular specific interaction between D-A molecules, ease of crystallization and self-association behavior between the molecules could provide the formation of solid films displaying great charge transport property. In this work, we designed new D-A-D-A-D type molecular structures containing diketopyrrolopyrrole and thiophene units. They showed moderately high charge carrier mobility, and among two molecules synthesized in this study, TT(BTDPP)2 with two DPPs and six thiophene units showing higher carrier mobility was employed to elaborate OPV with PC61BM (TT(BTDPP)2 : PC61BM=1:0.8 wt ratio), which displayed the best power conversion efficiency of 3.76 % (VOC of 0.66 V, JSC of 14.21 mA/cm2 and a FF of 0.40).
