There has been the importance of chemical porous materials in the engineering fields. In recent days, the discovery of new materials attracted many scientists, such as the periodic mesoporous MCM-41. A large number of studies are reported on the syntheses of hexagonal mesoporous MCM-41 and their several potential applications. MCM-41 is promising as a host material because of its mesopore structure. In this study, the release test of phenanthrene in coumarin modified MCM-41 was carried out. The result of this test gave possible application of the controlled release in drug delivery system. |
