제목 Effects of metal ions adsorbed on TiO2 photoelectrodes on the back electron transfer between photoinjected electrons and triiodide ions
초록 The TiO2 films were modified via a dip-coating process using an aqueous beryllium sulfate (BeSO4) or magnesium sulfate (MgSO4) solution to retard the back electron transfer between photoinjected electrons and triiodide ions in electrolyte. The modified TiO2 films were applied to the photoelectrodes of the dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). The highest power conversion efficiency (PCE) was achieved in the DSSC with BeSO4-modified TiO2 electrode. It indicates that the BeSO4-modified TiO2 electrode is a better choice for increasing the PCE than the MgSO4-modified electrode.
