제목 Enhanced power conversion efficiency of solar cells with strong base-treated TiO2 photoelectrodes
초록 Although an impressive 14.3% solar-to-electric power conversion efficiency (PCE) has been reported, further improvements in PCE are necessary to successfully commercialize dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). In order to improve PCE, the TiO2/FTO electrodes were treated with a base solution, and the resulting electrodes were applied to the photoelectrodes of DSSCs. The DSSC with strong base-modified TiO2 electrodes showed an increase in open circuit voltage and a decrease in short-circuit current, due to a negative shift of conduction band edge of TiO2.
