제목 Flame Retardancy and Mechanical Properties of Epoxy Resin with Nanoclay and Phosphorus Flame Retardant Coated Polymer Resin
초록 Acrylate of bisphenol-A type epoxy resins with the flame retardant were prepared by electron-beam irradiation. In this study, we have investigated the epoxy compound, which has good flame retardancy while maintained high mechanical properties. The acrylate epoxy resins and ammonium polyphosphate were mixed with nanoclay uniformly at 70℃. High density polyethylene (HDPE) was uniformly coated with the epoxy compound to 2 mm thickness, and irradiated by electron-beam. Their physical properties, such as LOI, flexural strength have been investigated.
