제목 Synthesis of PMMA-b-PBPEA-g-PS by Combination of RAFT and ATRP
초록 A well-defined A-b-B-g-C type block copolymer, poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA)-b-poly(2-(2-bromopropionyloxy)-ethyl acrylate) (PBPEA)-g-polystyrene (PS), was synthesized by combination of reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization and atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). Controlled polymerization of MMA, followed by sequential polymerization of BPEA which contains an ATRP initiator moiety was achieved by RAFT polymerization technique without intervention of the bromides for ATRP. Subsequent ATRP from the ATRP initiators in PBPEA block successfully produced a series of PMMA-b-PBPEA-g-PS with various volume fractions of PS. Phase separation behavior of the polymers was investigated by DSC, AFM and GISAXS.
