Grafted Separator Acting an Anion Receptor by Electron Beam Irradiation for Lithium Secondary Batteries |

Recently the increasing demand of power sources for many portable electronic devices, electric vehicles has efforts to develop rechargeable lithium batteries with high power density and high safety. In this point of view, high voltage operation lithium batteries are attractive because it brings substantial increase in the energy density compared with the present 4V counterpart. To obtain this objective, it is essential to develop novel battery materials. In this work,modified PE separators with anion receptible function were prepared by electron beam radiation-induced graft polymerization. The grafted separators were characterized by SEM, FT-IR. And the electrochemical properties of grafted separators were investigated. |
