In previous work, our new p-type host was tested with efficiency device showing high external quantum efficiency (EQE) over 25%. In this work, we fabricated the device to evaluate operational lifetime in phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes (OLED) device. For comparison, tris(4-carbazoyl-9-ylphenyl)amine (TCTA):TPBi mixed host device was fabricated as a reference device. As a result, the device showed similar EQE compared with reference device. In case of operational lifetime, the device which applied our new p-type host showed 227 hours of operational lifetime up to 80% of initial luminance at 1,000 nit, which is more than 10 times prolongation of the device lifetime in compared to reference device. |
