제목 A Simple Method to Overcome the Thickness Tolerance of the Interlayer without Sacrificing Performance of organic solar cells.
초록 ​In this study, micrometer-sized molecular electrolyte (C6-E-OTs) hybridized ZnO layers used as electron transporting layers. Using a hybridized ZnO layer based on C6-E-OTs hybridized PTB7 and PC71BM as the active layer, the device shows an increase in power conversion efficiency (PCE) from 7.6% based on ZnO to 8.8%. Combining a C6-E-OTs layer with a 5 nm thick C6-E-OTs interlayer can further improve the device. As a result of the synergy effect, the PCE of the device increased to 8.9%, an increase of 17.1% over a device based on ZnO. The presence of C6-E-OTs hybridized ZnO and a 5 nm of C6-E-OTs as the interlayer in the device with PTB7-Th as the donor significantly improves the PCE from 8.0% based on ZnO to 9.4%, resulting in a 17.5% enhancement. PCE is mainly enhanced by the reduction of energy offset at the cathode interface, which results in an improved Jsc. Therefore, ZnO layers hybridized can overcome the problem of thickness tolerance in interlayers.
