제목 | Changes of amino acids composition in Clostridium autoethanogenum culture |
초록 | Bioenergy has been developed as an alternative energy source for fossil fuels. The bioconversion process using acetogenic microorganisms from syngas containing carbon monoxide to biofuels have been widely studied. Acetogen culture can be divided into two stages. The first stage for microbial growth and organic acid formation is called as ‘acidogenesis’, and the second stage for biofuel (ethanol) formation is called as ‘solventogenesis’. Activated path in metabolism is different between these stages, therefore the amino acid composition is varied by changing stage. In this work, Clostridium autoethanogenum was used to produce bioethanol from syngas as a carbon source. In this fermentation process, microbial growth and bioethanol production is affected by varying the concentration of tungsten (trace metal) and tryptone (nitrogen source). We investigated the composition change of amino acids in culture broth, as well as cell growth and ethanol and acetic acid production. |
