To enhance conversion efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC), the surface of TiO2 photoelectrode was modified by hydroxylation treatment with NH4OH solutions. Different concentration of NH4OH solutions were used to resupply hydroxyl groups on the TiO2 surface. As increasing NH4OH concentration, JSC and conversion efficiency were improved because the amount of adsorbed dye molecules on the TiO2 surface was increased. The morphology, specific surface area, and chemical states of TiO2 surface was characterized by FE-SEM, BET and XPS. The amount of adsorbed dye and the conversion efficiency of prepared DSSC were measured by using UV-vis spectrometer and solar simulator. |
