제목 Surface Patterning of Biomolecules for Integrated Biosensors
초록 For the last more than a decade the microarrays have been increasingly used by the biologists and pharmaceuticals for high-throughput screening (HTS) of molecules-of-interest. Hydrogel based substrates offer an interesting solution for protein microarrays to the problems posed by flat dry surfaces that have been in use for DNA microarrays. Currently used technique to pattern hydrogel features on a surface involves photopolymerization, soft lithography based micro-contact printing or capillary force lithography of surface immobilized poly(ethylene glycol) brushes. However, the limitations involved in these techniques prevent them from being integrated with CMOS processing to form a protein or antibody based HTS biosensor. In this presentation we describe micron scale patterned hydrogel scaffolds by masking and molding with immobilized protein and resist-free dendrimer assisted e-beam based surface pattering of biomolecules for integrated biosensors.
