제목 Synthesis of Acrylic Copolymers and Crosslinking Agents via Emulsion Polymerization and Their Film Properties
초록 Poly(butyl acrylate-co-acrylic acid)(PBAA) and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate(EGDMA) copolymers were prepared by emulsion polymerization. To investigate the effects of various crosslinking agents, new crosslinking agents were prepared from isocyanate monomers and aziridine derivatives. To evaluate the properties of their films, the mixture of the acrylic copolymer and the crosslinking agent were cast and dried in a convection oven at high temperature.1
The influences of the crosslinking agent contents on the tensile strength, elongation, water resistance and chemical resistance of the films were investigated. Thermal properties of copolymers were determined by DSC. The crosslinking agents were evaluated by FT-IR and the morphologies of film surface and the acrylic copolymer particles were investigated by SEM and AFM.
