제목 Surface energy controlled and photoinitiator-free photosensitive organic gate insulator for organic thin-film transistors
초록 Polyimides (PIs) are currently considered as promising candidate as a gate dielectric because of their good insulating property and excellent thermal stability. In other to improve the performance of PI film as a gate insulator for pentacene TFTs, we have developed the surface energy controlled and photoinitiator-free photosensitive polyimide copolymer through one-step condensation polymerization. Surface energy controlled and photosensitive processable polyimide copolymers have been synthesized from 5-(2,5-dioxotetrahydrofuryl)-3-methyl-3-cyclohexene-1,2-dicarboxylic anhydride, 3,5-diaminobenzyl cinnamate [DABC] and 1-(3,5-diaminophenyl)-3-(1-octadecyl)-succinicimide [DA-18-IM]. The patterning and surface energy properties of polyimide gate insulator were controlled by synthetic modification using DABC and DA-18-IM functional monomers. Detailed synthetic route and surface characterization of synthesized copolymer will be presented.
