Block copolymer nano patterning for observe resistance of carbon deposition on Anode of solid oxide fuel cell. |
초록 |
The BaO modified Ni anode showed superior resistance to coking deactivation when an SOFC is operated with hydrocarbon fuels, while the mechanism is not well understood. Orderly distributed BaO nanorings with clear interface with Ni substrate were fabricated through block-copolymer pattering method. The Ni surface modified by BaO nanorings displayed better ability to resist carbon deposition than the blank nickel surface. The microscopic characterization (confocal Raman, SEM, AFM and EFM) of the sample surface after hydrocarbon exposure showed difference of carbon coverage and morphology between the BaO modified and blank Ni sample. The methodology developed herein is a new route to understand the local effect of coking resistant agents for nickel surface, and may benefit the future study in SOFC anodes and general hydrocarbon reforming catalysts. |
