Effects of hydrodynamic shear stress on plant cells in suspension culture
Effects of hydrodynamic turbulent stress on behaviour of plant cell aggregates [Rhodiola rosea L. (Crassulaceae)], cultivated in the suspension culture in a batch Rushton-type stirred tank reactor, are investigated. Variations in the time of mean aggregate size and nutrient concentration are measured and predicted with the model.
