The analitical solution of Euler-Lagrange'a equation in optimisation problem for batch reactor with deactivation independent of the reactant concentration
The problem of finding the minimal time of process for enzymatic reaction with Michaelis-Menten kinetics subject to biocatalyst deactivation in a batch reactor was studied. The method of calculus of variations was applied for formulation of optimization problem and obtained Euler-Lagrange'a equation was solved analytically.
