Investigation of solubility in multicomponent electrolyte solutions
Results are presented of experimental investigations of solid-liquid equilibria in multicomponent systems containing sodium sulphate and sulphites. The measurements are made using polythermal method. The methodology developed is tested by comparing the experimental results and literature data of solubility of pure compounds. The experimental data for multicomponent solutions are used for the verification of solid-liquid equilibrium model presented earlier. A good agreement between measured and calculated equilibrium temperatures is found.
