The mathematical model of membrane biosorber is based on Langmuir theory. It was assumed that process kinetics is limited by diffusion at biosorbent boundary layer, The continuous flow system has been assumed for the biosorption, at close to membrane layer of biosorbent. whereas the mixed system has been considered at the bulk region. The simulation of the membrane biosorption according to the presented model enables the process parameters and mode of operation to be optimized.
