Dispersion of submicron aerosol particles in fibrous filters
Results of submicron aerosol particles penetration in ordered and random fibrous filter structures obtained using a simplified Brownian dynamics algorithm were reported. Effect of the particle diameter on the effective axial dispersion coefficient was determined by comparing penetration of the particles through the entire filter with the penetration obtained assuming a constant efficiency for all fibres.
